Darion Ducharme is the Founder and CEO of Teqare, an Indigenous-owned education and technology training organization delivering practical, community-rooted programming across Canada. Teqare specializes in cyber security, AI and deepfake awareness, digital literacy, financial education, and scam prevention, working with schools, post-secondary partners, community organizations, and Indigenous governance.
In the past year, Teqare has delivered training in over 120 schools and more than 70 First Nations, reaching thousands of learners across urban, rural, and remote communities. Darion’s work focuses on bridging gaps between education and real-world skills, ensuring learners are equipped to safely navigate technology, participate in the digital economy, and prepare for evolving workforce demands.
Darion is a nationally recognized speaker and has been featured by Global News, CBC, The Globe and Mail, and SAY Magazine. He is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Mastercard Game Changer Award and the CCIB Young Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year Award. His work emphasizes accessible credentials, practical learning pathways, and inclusive approaches to skills recognition that reflect lived experience and community realities.
