Dan McFaull

Dan McFaull
Managing Partner, North Pacific Metrics Inc.

Academically, I’ve earned both an M.Ed specializing in adult vocational education (University of Saskatchewan – 1975) and an M.B.A. focused on organization and policy (University of Lausanne – 1982).  As an educator, I’ve taught in the fields of social work, human justice and education at the post-secondary level and undertaken research in a variety of fields.  For many years I worked in instructional and curriculum design for life skills and job entry programs.  25 years ago, I founded North Pacific Metrics and, since then, we’ve focused on developing occupational qualification standards and assessment strategies grounded in behavioural, observable competencies.  North Pacific recently developed the national certification program for Career Development Practitioners, and has worked with the Automotive Sector Council of Nova Scotia to develop occupational certification programs for Tire Maintenance Technicians and for Collision Repair Preppers.
